THE KC FUND
The Greater Kansas City Hispanic Scholarship Fund was established in 1984 to invest in the Latino youth of Kansas City by providing scholarships to students entering and continuing college.
Since its inception, GKCHSF has awarded over $1.6 million through 2,046 scholarships with money raised from the public and private sectors, and from matching funds provided by area colleges and universities.
This year more than $128,000 will be awarded and presented to 115 students at the 2008 Kansas City Hispanic Scholarship Awards.

The HSF Awards 2008
The community will come together June 5th to recognize the 2008 scholarship recipients selected by the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Scholarship Fund. The event is the GKCHSF's largest annual fundraiser. More than 400 community leaders, students and past recipients will join in the celebration. |
